It’s surprising what pops up at trade shows, and PacPrint 2025 was no exception, with an intriguing stand appearing for ‘Business in a Box’, where a Canon Colorado M-series printer took centre stage, delivering a series of ‘one-liners’ to passing visitors.
Currie Group's Matt Tangey and Paul Whitehead let the Colorado do the talking at PacPrint 2025The multi-talented printer, which is the latest iteration of Canon’s revolutionary UVGel technology, had a lot to say, from how it can nail colour, print everything from walls and windows to signage and posters, in matte or gloss, on a huge range of media.
Importantly, it can be left almost without supervision as it tackles job after job, quickly and profitably, making Paul Whitehead, Currie Group’s Business Unit Manager – Sign & Display – and team almost redundant on stand at the show.
“We could have left the printer to do all the talking,” Whitehead said, “but it was a great opportunity for our team to connect with PacPrint 2025 visitors and talk to them about the versatility, quality and profitability of the Canon Colorado M-Series.
“It effectively is ‘a business in a box’, and we’re looking forward to continuing the conversations over coming weeks.”
